‘Bomber jackets,’ as we’ve come to refer to them today, were originally known as ‘flight jackets’ and were created by the US Army Aviation Clothing Board in 1917 to keep WWI pilots warm in the uninsulated, open-air cockpits of the early fighter planes. Our modern take on the Bomber Jacket is made of an incredibly soft vegan leather that looks like natural nappa leather. Finished with knit ribbed trim with welt pockets at hip and an interior pocket. As a style the bomber jacket is typically featured in a cropped length. Shown in Brown Vegan Leather.
